The Tengri Way
Creating an equitable world where land, animals and people are cherished, nurtured and respected.
Luxury begins with stewardship.
House of Tengri was created to honour the true value of the world’s rarest noble fibres, from the landscapes and communities at their source, to the hands that shape them into cloth.
Co-created with nomadic mountain communities and British heritage makers, our approach brings together provenance, material knowledge and enduring craftsmanship.
Our Manifesto
A declaration of what we believe, our purpose, and how we work.
Pioneering a New Luxury
The fashion and textile industries have long separated luxury from the landscapes, animals and people at its source. Tengri was founded to restore that connection.
Our supply chain begins with enduring relationships. We source noble fibres directly from herders, recognising both the true value of the material and the knowledge of those who steward the land and animals from which it comes.
These rare fibres are refined, spun, woven and finished through a union of heritage craftsmanship, material science and contemporary design.
Circular principles guide every stage of our zero-waste value chain, preserving the exceptional character of each fibre while creating products of enduring beauty and performance.
Rooted in Trust and Transparency
Provenance begins with knowing where a material comes from, who has cared for it and how value is shared.
Co-created with nomadic herding communities, House of Tengri works through cooperatives representing more than 4,500 families across the Khangai Mountains. Herders are recognised as partners and custodians, not simply suppliers.
Working with the skilled craftspeople in Britain, we uphold a fully traceable, transparent, and uncompromising supply chain – ensuring each Tengri product carries the in-Tengri-ty of its origin, the skilled hands of its maker, and the continuity of culture.
